Mr. Hemang Zalavadia, co-founder of D H Rubber, is Chairman & Managing Director since the inception of D H Rubber. He has expanded D H Rubber from a start up enterprise to one of the leading manufacturer, supplier and exporter of Rubber Components in India. A visionary par excellence whose charismatic leadership is a striking quality. He believes in continual innovation, creativity and hardwork. According to him companies must transform operations so that their products, quality and service are second to none, and this must be done at a pace faster than lightening. Tomorrow is uncertain. Move, conclude, progress is his mantra for today. He leads the company’s strategic planning, management and technology development besides sharing responsibilities of day-to-day operations. “A hundred times everyday I remind myself that my inner and outer life depended on the labours of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving. I will strive further in my efforts to reduce fear of my subordinates through more interaction and regular feedbacks. I will continue to nurture my subordinates towards excellence by leading them in the proper direction from time to time and to a certain extent allowing them to learn even at the cost of errors, though the interaction being regular the possibility of erring stands reduced. I will share the strengths of my people with them regularly and help them in their areas of learning, which will be processed for necessary training, seminar and workshops. I will try more often to lead by example and will also ensure to provide proper guidance and direction at all times. I will try to re-energize the concept of user departments as ‘prime customers’ and orient my subordinates towards them”.
